The great room, with its airy living, dining and cooking spaces, is awash with light. Kick back on the comfy sofa and watch the big screen, HDTV. Test your fire building skills and enjoy a fire in the wood burning fireplace.
When it’s time to cook, the commercial-quality equipped kitchen makes cooking a breeze. With enough place settings for a formal dinner, casual backyard BBQ, or a PB&J party, clean up is easy with the large farmhouse sink and deluxe dishwasher. From breakfast to late night snacks, with seating for all, the family table becomes, once again, the gathering place.
The master suite on the main floor has a queen bed, and an adjoining bathroom, flat screen TV/DVD player, and you have the perfect, easily accessible, master suite.
Upstairs, the kids’ room has lots of play space. Bury yourself in a mountain of pillows on the day bed and watch one of the many DVDs; or challenge one of the grown-ups to a game of Wii Sports or BASS Fishing. When night falls, pull out the trundle and sleep two, on the memory-foam twin beds, or push them together for a king.
In the third bedroom, greet the morning sun from the adjoining deck, which is furnished with a seashore bistro table and chairs. Need to escape during the day? Napping can be nearly divine on the king Sleep Number bed. Plump up the pillows, read a book, or watch a DVD of your very own choosing!
Outside, with a campfire pit, gas grill, and two covered decks, there is no reason to linger inside. Make everyday a day of discovery, and head for the beach to explore the tidal pools. If you are in an affable mood, join the neighbors across the street for a fire at Alder Park’s communal fire pit. Or hop, skip, and jump around the corner to Crescent Park for shuffle board or horseshoe pitching. Hankering for a great day trip – Olympic National Park is only a short drive away!
When the day comes to an end, leave the sandy beach outside with the help of the outdoor shower, and within steps of the back door -- a powder room and washer/dryer.
